This project began out small. The customer, a software engineer, contacted JGID to walk his new condominium and make a furniture program utilizing his present furnishings and some proposed improvements. The condominium is a rarity in San Francisco. It is a true brick and wood loft. The programmers had done a fairly good job with endings and fittings once the conversion was completed about a few years ago, but it nevertheless needed a cookie cutter sense. Thus, we began talking about chances and the extent quickly climbed to comprise remodeling that the kitchen and equally bathrooms, transferring a few walls, lowering a ceiling and pretty much all brand new furnishings.
The customer grew up in Japan and transferred into the Bay Area approximately 7 years back to operate in Silicon Valley. With a couple powerful start-ups beneath his belt, he also transferred from the Peninsula into SOMA last August. His aesthetic is pushed by his own legacy clean, easy, beautiful. He’s got good taste and has been ready to take some risks with his brand new location. That made it interesting!
